Video Art project
A unique first-time encounter in Israeli concert halls: multimedia experiences that combine Video-Art and music in real time! Beethoven's Seventh Symphony accompanied by a display of the Video-Art artist Yael Toren, graduate of Bezalel and winner of the Sandberg, Felheim and Sharet Foundation awards.
The display is a computerized video animation, which follows Beethoven's stormy spirit and its reflection in his music.
In this concert the IKO hosted the virtuoso guitarist, Avi Singolda, who performed an intriguing work written specially for him by Yaron Gottfried. A work which gained the acclaim of both critics and audiences.
The concert included Toru Takemitsu's enchanting work as well, based on a poem by Emily Dickinson, "How slow the wind" - hypnotizing music, rich in orchestral colors and influenced by Debussy - associated with the wind and waves and accompanied by a video display. A worthwhile experience!

Jobim, who was captured by her unique voice, wrote: "Her voice is deep and mysterious and causes me to yearn for the Brazilian forests. She is a wonderful woman and a great artist."
