An exciting Latino concert dedicated to the lively and rhythmic music of Brazil and Argentina. At the heart of the program is an encounter with the Israeli Pitango Quartet, which has gained critical acclaim around the world, and together we will present choice Tango works by Piazzolla, arranged especially for orchestra and the Quartet. The concert will also feature the colorful work by Darius Milhaud, who loved and researched Brazilian folklore. The work comprises dances that depict various regions of Rio and their unique atmosphere, as well as the yearning of the composer to the place.
